ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,052, issued on May 27, was assigned to Quicksilver Scientific Inc. (Louisville, Colo.).
"Mitochondrial performance enhancement nanoemulsion method" was invented by Christopher W. Shade (Louisville, Colo.) and Steven Tieu (Louisville, Colo.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aqueous, intra-oral, nanoemulsion blend is provided that enhances mitochondrial performance in mammals when orally administered. The blend includes at least two different monolayer surfactant bound particle components and at least one bilayer water-core liposome component. The blend optionally may include a micelle."
