ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,312,377, issued on May 27, was assigned to Quantum-Si Inc. (Branford, Conn.).

"Biconjugatable labels and methods of use" was invented by Jonathan M. Rothberg (Guilford, Conn.), Jeremy Lackey (Guilford, Conn.), Roger Nani (Madison, Conn.) and David Dodd (Guilford, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the disclosure provide biconjugatable labels, labeled biomolecules, and methods of using and making the same."

The patent was filed on July 12, 2019, under Application No. 16/510,794.
