US Patent Issued to Quantum Marine on April 15 for "Pontoon boat" (Indiana, Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,500, issued on April 15, was assigned to Quantum Marine Inc. (Wakarusa, Ind.).

"Pontoon boat" was invented by Eric V. Ludwick (Niles, Mich.) and Eric J. Johanson (Granger, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pontoon boat having central pontoon located between outer pontoons. The outer pontoons are fixed with respect to the deck and the central pontoon is movably fixed with respect to the deck.
