US Patent Issued to QUALCOMM on Sept. 30 for "Self-calibration of delay circuits in asynchronous loops" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,431,881, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

"Self-calibration of delay circuits in asynchronous loops" was invented by Shashank Rajendra Prasad (San Diego) and Patrick Isakanian (El Dorado Hills, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A calibration circuit has a delay loop, a counter and a latch. The delay loop that includes a delay circuit. The counter is clocked by edges in a clock signal generated by the delay loop when an enable signal is in a first signaling state.
