ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,476,760, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).
"Flexible cross-carrier aperiodic sounding reference signal triggering enhancement" was invented by Muhammad Sayed Khairy Abdelghaffar (San Jose, Calif.) and Alexandros Manolakos (Escondido, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for triggering aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS) transmission across multiple uplink component carriers."
The patent was filed on April 21, 2021, under Application No. 17/916,771.
