ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,316,428, issued on May 27, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).
"Repeater mechanical beam steering" was invented by Navid Abedini (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Junyi Li (Franklin Park, Pa.) and Ashwin Sampath (Skillman, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a repeater may identify one or more parameters for mechanical beam steering. The repeater may perform mechanical beam steering based at least in part on the one or more parameters. Numerous other aspects are provided."
