ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,036, issued on June 3, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).
"Link establishment via an assisting node" was invented by Navid Abedini (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Sourjya Dutta (San Diego), Kapil Gulati (Belle Mead, N.J.) and Naeem Akl (Somerville, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) generally including receiving cell association information from at least one assisting node and establishing a connection with a network entity of at least one cell via the at least one assisting node, based on the cell association information."
