US Patent Issued to QUALCOMM on Jan. 13 for "Noise-shaping ADC with overload recovery" (California, Washington Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,525,984, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter includes a noise-shaping quantizer that performs noise shaping in the absence of an overload condition. An overload detector monitors for the presence of the overload condition and disables the noise shaping for an overload recovery period in response to a detection of the overload condition."
