ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,388,430, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

"Programmable delay-line circuit with single delay array and real-time calibration" was invented by Wenjing Yin (San Diego), Xu Zhang (San Diego) and Qingjin Du (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A programmable delay-line circuit is provided that includes a single ring oscillator that is calibrated continuously by a calibration logic circuit. A clock edge sampler samples an input clock responsive to a plurality of oscillator output signals from the ring oscillator to form a corresponding plurality of data output signals.
