ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,479, issued on July 15, was assigned to QRP Inc. (Berea, Ohio).

"Hook latch with adjustable throw" was invented by Joseph B. Newell (Oak Island, N.C.) and Michael J. Parsell Jr. (Wilmington, N.C.).
