ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,245,861, issued on March 11, was assigned to Qneuro Inc (Irvine, Calif.).

"Electrode headgear for use in electroencephalography" was invented by Dhiraj Jeyanandarajan (Irvine, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus comprises a dual electrode assembly comprising: a non-contact electrode, a dry electrode having multiple contact pins, and a housing configured to enclose the dry electrode when the dry electrode is in a first position, and to expose the multiple contact pins outside the housing when the dry electrode is in a second position."

The patent was filed on Nov. 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/512,138.
