ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,299,600, issued on May 13, was assigned to QlikTech International AB (Lund, Sweden).
"Cognitive rule engine" was invented by Mohsen Rais-Ghasem (Ottawa) and Elif Tutuk (Verona, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In an aspect, provided is a method comprising monitoring one or more data analysis sessions, determining, based on the monitoring, a common data analysis technique performed across common data analysis sessions, identifying the common data analysis technique as a precedent, and providing the precedent to a precedent engine."
The patent was filed on Sept. 8, 2022, under Application No. 17/940,726.
