US Patent Issued to QC Ware on April 15 for "Hardware designs for photonics quantum data loaders" (American, French Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,479, issued on April 15, was assigned to QC Ware Corp. (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Hardware designs for photonics quantum data loaders" was invented by Peter L. McMahon (Ithaca, N.Y.) and Iordanis Kerenidis (Paris).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates generally to circuit-model quantum computation, and more particularly, to quantum processing devices that are specialized for efficient loading of classical data into a quantum computer."
