ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,227,412, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Qatar University (Doha, Qatar).

"Porous one-dimensional polymeric graphitic carbon nitride-based nanosystems for catalytic conversion of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide under ambient conditions" was invented by Kamel Abdelmoniem Mohamed Eid (Sharkia, Egypt) and Aboubakr Moustafa Abdullah (Giza, Egypt).
