US Patent Issued to PURECIRCLE USA on May 13 for "Stevia extracts enriched in rebaudioside D, E, N and/or O and process for the preparation thereof" (Malaysian Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,391, issued on May 13, was assigned to PURECIRCLE USA INC. (Westchester, Ill.).

"Stevia extracts enriched in rebaudioside D, E, N and/or O and process for the preparation thereof" was invented by Avetik Markosyan (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A Stevia extract made from leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant is described. The extract has desired levels of steviol glycosides and is useful in food, beverage, and other consumable products."

The patent was filed on Dec. 14, 2021, under Application No. 17/550,195.
