ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,293,111, issued on May 6, was assigned to PURE STORAGE INC. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Pattern forming for heterogeneous erase blocks" was invented by Eric D. Seppanen (Mountain View, Calif.), Andrew R. Bernat (Mountain View, Calif.), Timothy W. Brennan (San Francisco), Mark L McAuliffe (San Francisco) and Neil Buda Vachharajani (Menlo Park, Calif.).
