ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,792, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Purdue Research Foundation (West Lafayette, Ind.).

"Compounds for the treatment of SARS" was invented by Arun K. Ghosh (West Lafayette, Ind.), Monika Yadav (West Lafayette, Ind.) and Andrew Mesecar (West Lafayette, Ind.).
