ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,508,319, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Purdue Research Foundation (West Lafayette, Ind.).

"Luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone receptor (LHRH-R) conjugates and uses thereof" was invented by Philip Stewart Low (West Lafayette, Ind.) and Jyoti Roy (West Lafayette, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present teachings relate generally to conjugates and methods for imaging a tumor microenvironment in a patient, and to conjugates and methods for treating LHRH-R expressing cancer in a patient. The present teachings relate generally to method of making conjugates comprising an LHRH-R antagonist."
