ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,475, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Purdue Research Foundation (West Lafayette, Ind.) and GM Global Technology Operations LLC (Detroit).
"Phase transforming cellular materials" was invented by Pablo Zavattieri (West Lafayette, Ind.), Yunlan Zhang (Foothill Ranch, Calif.), Nilesh Mankame (Ann Arbor, Mich.), David Restrepo (San Antonio), Gordon Jarrold (Chicago) and Maria Milian Velay-Lizancos (West Lafayette, Ind.).
