According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a composition for removal of a target substance from a fluid stream, the composition comprising a support material comprising cellulose; and a sorbent molecule that comprises a linear or branched polyamine having a molecular weight of less than 500.
