US Patent Issued to Pulsemedica on July 1 for "Spatial light modulation targeting of therapeutic lasers for treatment of ophthalmological conditions" (Canadian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,289, issued on July 1, was assigned to Pulsemedica Corp. (Edmonton, Canada).

"Spatial light modulation targeting of therapeutic lasers for treatment of ophthalmological conditions" was invented by Nir Katchinskiy (Alberta, Canada) and Abdulhakem Elezzabi (Alberta, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A therapeutic laser for use in treating ophthalmological conditions can be modulated by a spatial light modulation device in order to focus the therapeutic laser on a plurality of target locations simultaneously."
