US Patent Issued to PulpCulture USA on March 25 for "Weed barrier and method of use" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,677, issued on March 25, was assigned to PulpCulture USA Inc. (Three Rivers, Mich.).

"Weed barrier and method of use" was invented by Daniel John Wagner (Cassopolis, Mich.) and Kevin M. Henneman (Three Rivers, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A weed barrier includes a rigid body defining a plurality of basins. The basins have bottoms with holes therethrough for planting garden plants. In a particular embodiment the bottom surface of the weed barrier includes a plurality of hose channels configured be positioned over a hose.
