ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,629, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to PTC THERAPEUTICS INC. (South Plainfield, N.J.).

"Method for treating nonsense mutation mediated duchenne muscular dystrophy in pediatric patients" was invented by Ronald Kong (River Edge, N.J.) and Joseph William McIntosh (Wyckoff, N.J.).
