ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,268,663, issued on April 8, was assigned to PRUVYC PHARMA LLC (Cary, N.C.).
"Method for treating pruritus" was invented by John M. Yanni (Burleson, Texas) and Eric C. Carlson (Burleson, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods for treating pruritis in humans and animals using topically administrable compositions containing olopatadine are disclosed. The compositions quickly relieve itchy skin."
The patent was filed on Sept. 9, 2021, under Application No. 17/470,243.
