ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,476,449, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Proterial Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Boot-attached cable and medical diagnostic device" was invented by Kazufumi Suenaga (Tokyo), Seiichi Kashimura (Tokyo) and Takanobu Watanabe (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A boot-attached cable is composed of a cable, and a cable boot secured to an end of the cable by an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes an additive material comprising at least one of an organic substant and an inorganic substance, capable of shielding against ultraviolet light."
