ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,429,488, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to PRINCETON BIOMEDITECH Corp. (Monmouth Junction, N.J.).
"Monoclonal antibody against D-dimer and diagnosis agent for detecting D-dimer, crosslinked fibrin and its derivatives containing D-dimer by using the antibody" was invented by Jemo Kang (Princeton, N.J.) and Jin Yang (North Brunswick, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are an immunochemical assay device and a method of using the immunochemical assay device for detecting one or more targets or markers such as Cardiac Troponin I, NT-pro-BNP, D-dimer and/or cross-linked fibrin in a fluid sample."
