ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,431,466, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Prilit Optronics Inc. (Tainan, Taiwan).
"Light-emitting diode display" was invented by Biing-Seng Wu (Tainan, Taiwan) and Hsing-Ying Lee (Tainan, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light-emitting diode (LED) display includes a top-emission LED that emits light upward; a bottom-emission LED that emits light downward; and a spacer disposed between the top-emission LED and the bottom-emission LED, thereby providing a dual-sided display."
The patent was filed on Aug. 31, 2022, under Application No. 17/900,056.
