ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,332,165, issued on June 17, was assigned to President and Fellows of Harvard College (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Volatile liquid analysis" was invented by Ida Pavlichenko (Watertown, Mass.), Elijah Shirman (Arlington, Mass.), Soren Brandt (Somerville, Mass.), Timothy Sheung Bun Wong (Richmond Hill, Canada), Austin Tripp (North York, Canada) and Joanna Aizenberg (Boston).
