ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,865, issued on June 10, was assigned to President and Fellows of Harvard College (Cambridge, Mass.).
"Methods for increasing efficiency of gene editing in cells" was invented by George M. Church (Brookline, Mass.) and Luhan Yang (Somerville, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides methods of improving nuclease-mediated gene targeting frequencies in cells using PFTAlpha or bFGF."
The patent was filed on Jan. 31, 2018, under Application No. 16/482,294.
