"Spin-to-orbital angular momentum converter for light" was invented by Federico Capasso (Cambridge, Mass.), Antonio Ambrosio (Arlington, Mass.), Noah A. Rubin (Cambridge, Mass.), Robert C. Devlin (Cambridge, Mass.) and Yao-Wei Huang (Somerville, Mass.).
