ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,533,315, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to PRESIDENT AND FELLOWS OF HARVARD COLLEGE.
"Compositions comprising at least one ionic liquid, a polypeptide, and at least one non-ionic surfactant for protein delivery" was invented by Samir Mitragotri (Lexington, Mass.) and Naoya Ohmori (Togane, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The technology described herein is directed to methods and compositions for drug delivery, e.g., comprising an ionic liquid and a non-ionic surfactant."
The patent was filed on Feb. 25, 2020, under Application No. 17/435,169.
