ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,189, issued on April 15, was assigned to Precision Planting LLC (Tremont, Ill.).
"Vision system" was invented by Nicholas Winkler (Gurnee, Ill.) and Paul Wildermuth (Tremont, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system having a boom; a plurality of cameras attached to the boom; and a plurality of lenses on each camera; wherein not all lenses have a same field of view."
The patent was filed on Oct. 15, 2021, under Application No. 18/043,968.
