ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,529, issued on July 22, was assigned to Pratt Retail Specialties LLC (Brookhaven, Ga.).
"Repulpable container" was invented by Alan B. Collison (Pierce, Neb.) and Reid Borgman (Norfolk, Neb.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A repulpable insulated container assembly having a container formed of paper such as corrugated cardboard or varying paper materials and defining an interior; and a repulpable insert placed within the interior of the container and formed of a first paper layer; and a paper fiber pad coupled to the first paper layer."
The patent was filed on Aug. 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/234,425.
