ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,319,476, issued on June 3, was assigned to Pratt Corrugated Holdings Inc. (Brookhaven, Ga.).
"Packaging assembly" was invented by Connor Cheney (Milford, Mich.), Ryan Richmond (Livonia, Mich.) and C. Samuel Simich (South Lyon, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A packaging element formed from a blank includes a bottom panel, a first side panel connected to the bottom panel, at least one support assembly connected to the first side panel, at least one end panel connected to the bottom panel, and each end panel secured to the packaging element."
The patent was filed on Nov. 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/937,265.
