ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. PP36,705, issued on May 27, was assigned to Poulsen Roser A/S (Fredensborg, Denmark).

"Miniature rose plant named 'Poulty042'" was invented by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Fredensborg, Denmark).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new garden rose plant of the Miniature class which has abundant, red flowers and attractive foliage. This new and distinct variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation."

The patent was filed on Sept. 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/831,188.
