ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,422,022, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to POLARIS INDUSTRIES INC. (Medina, Minn.).
"Automated sequential transmissions" was invented by David A. Galsworthy (Wyoming, Minn.), Gary A. Pinkley (Lino Lakes, Minn.), Adrien Lechat (Hinckley, Great Britain), Zacharey J. Hussong (Roseville, Minn.) and Jeffrey I. Peterman (Stacy, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A driveline assembly for a recreational vehicle may include an engine and an automated sequential transmission."
The patent was filed on Aug. 23, 2022, under Application No. 17/893,309.
