ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,258,005, issued on March 25, was assigned to Polaris Industries Inc. (Medina, Minn.).
"Systems and methods for vehicle hazardous condition detection" was invented by Chiao George Liu (White Bear Lake, Minn.), Joseph P. Nuxoll (San Jose, Calif.) and Jonathon P. Graus (Stacy, Minn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods for detecting a vehicle hazardous condition of a recreational vehicle and activating a distress mode of the recreation vehicle in response to detecting the vehicle hazardous condition."
The patent was filed on Oct. 20, 2021, under Application No. 17/506,204.
