ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,336,524, issued on June 24, was assigned to PIC Corp. (Linden, N.J.).
"Electrical insect eliminator simulated flame and transparent safety cage" was invented by Eric Rubel (Westfield, N.J.), David L. Lowe (Port Monmouth, N.J.) and Lawrence E. Bradford (Westfield, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric insect eliminator including a light portion and a conducting grid with a transparent cage surrounding the conducting grid to prevent contact while allowing light to pass therethrough and also amplifying the light emitted from the device."
