ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,148, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Phytostone LLC (Buffalo, N.Y.).

"Carbon negative cementitious composition and building materials" was invented by Emily Majewski (Buffalo, N.Y.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Cementitious wet mixtures and solids such as architectural tiles providing carbon sequestration and being overall carbon negative.
