ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,417, issued on May 13, was assigned to PHILIP MORRIS USA INC. (Richmond, Va.).

"Elongate heater for an electrically heated aerosol-generating system" was invented by Olivier Greim (Villars-Burquin, Switzerland), Julien Plojoux (Geneva) and Dani Ruscio (Cressier, Switzerland).
