ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,190, issued on June 17, was assigned to Philip Morris Products S.A. (Neuchatel, Switzerland).

"Inductively heatable tobacco product" was invented by Oleg Mironov (Neuchatel, Switzerland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The inductively heatable tobacco product for aerosol-generation includes an aerosol-forming substrate containing a susceptor in the form of a plurality of particles. The aerosol-forming substrate is a crimped tobacco sheet comprising tobacco material, fibers, binder, aerosol-former and the susceptor in the form of the plurality of particles."

The patent was filed on Jan. 16, 2024, under Application No. 18/413,950.
