ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,675, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Peridot Print LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Three-dimensional printing" was invented by Emre Hiro Discekici (San Diego), Graciela E. Negri Jimenez (San Diego) and Shannon Reuben Woodruff (San Diego).
