ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,531, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Peridot Print LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).
"Three-dimensional printing" was invented by Cory J. Ruud (Corvallis, Ore.), Vladek Kasperchik (Corvallis, Ore.) and Natalie Harvey (Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are compositions, kits, methods, and systems for printing metal three-dimensional objects. In an example, described is a binding fluid composition for three-dimensional printing, the composition comprising: an aqueous liquid vehicle comprising at least one diol; and latex polymer particles dispersed in the aqueous liquid vehicle."
