ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,296,387, issued on May 13, was assigned to Peridot Print LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Three-dimensional printing" was invented by Vladek Kasperchik (Corvallis, Ore.), Krzysztof Nauka (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Mohammed S. Shaarawi (Corvallis, Ore.).
