US Patent Issued to Peridot Print on July 29 for "Adaptive simulation in additive manufacturing" (American, Mexican Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,373,618, issued on July 29, was assigned to Peridot Print LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Adaptive simulation in additive manufacturing" was invented by Jun Zeng (Palo Alto, Calif.), Carlos Alberto Lopez Collier de la Marliere (Guadalajara, Mexico) and He Luan (Palo Alto, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods for adapting a boundary condition of a simulation of 3D manufacturing are provided. The simulation of 3D manufacturing is based on thermal sensor data from a thermal sensor at a point of a build enclosure are provided."
