ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,385,270, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Pentair Water Pool & Spa Inc. (Cary, N.C.).

"Connected pool and spa heater system" was invented by David Vaughn (Cary, N.C.), Edward Feten (Cary, N.C.), Zachary Steven Pickard (Carrboro, N.C.), Jacob Moya-Mendez (Denton, N.C.), Michel Durand (Carros, France), Yves-Marie Le Lay (Carros, France), Martin De Jerphanion (Carros, France) and Stephane Colomb (St. Blaise, France).
