ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,494,505, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to PANASONIC INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Co. LTD. (Osaka, Japan).
"Solid electrolyte material and battery in which same is used" was invented by Masashi Sakaida (Hyogo, Japan) and Yoshimasa Nakama (Osaka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The solid electrolyte material consists essentially of Li, Ti, Al, M, and F. Here, M is at least one selected from the group consisting of Zr and Mg."
The patent was filed on Sept. 8, 2022, under Application No. 17/939,971.
