ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,418,683, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to PANASONIC INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CORPORATION OF AMERICA (Torrance, Calif.).
"Encoder, decoder, encoding method, and decoding method" was invented by Masato Ohkawa (Toyama, Japan), Hideo Saitou (Ishikawa, Japan), Kiyofumi Abe (Osaka, Japan), Takahiro Nishi (Nara, Japan) and Tadamasa Toma (Osaka, Japan).
