ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,387,638, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to PANASONIC AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS Co. LTD. (Kanagawa, Japan).

"Display device for enabling a user to visually recognize an image as a virtual image" was invented by Akira Tanaka (Osaka, Japan), Toshiya Mori (Osaka, Japan), Tadashi Shibata (Osaka, Japan) and Fumihito Inukai (Kyoto, Japan).
