ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,300,878, issued on May 13, was assigned to Oura Health Oy (Oulu, Finland).
"Slot antenna in a wearable device" was invented by Reetta Kuonanoja (Oulu, Finland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems, and devices for operating a wearable device are described. A wearable device may include one or more slot antennas configured to transmit and receive electromagnetic fields for wireless communications."
The patent was filed on Sept. 6, 2022, under Application No. 17/903,556.
